I have been a Stephen King fan for a long time. I have enjoyed reading many of his books. I would like to say that I have read them all but I can't. My favorite has to be The Dark Tower series. Of all of the books and short stories that I have read one of them (which I have named this thread) has struck a major cord with me personally, and of all the stories that I have read, i wish more than anything that this one is real. I was diagnosed last year with stage 4 colon cancer. So far the chemo is keeping it in check. I keep a positive attitude about everything and try to have fun with it.....even if it is something that I wish no person has to deal with.

The few short pages of this story made me feel that maybe just maybe that there is a miracle out there..... for anyone or everyone going through something bad in their lives.

Mr. King,

if you are reading this, I would like to personally thank you for writing what you have written, at least what I have read so far. I have enjoyed every story and every character that you have created. One of the items on my bucket list is to read every book that you have written........ I have no idea if I can do it but I'm going to die trying....lol.

I hope all is well with you and yours,

sincerely,
