Just dropping by to fire off a 'Thank You'

My sister bought that book for me for Christmas a few years ago. It was inspirational. Last year I bought Anne Serling's biography of her father (“As I Knew Him”), which was also inspirational. I started writing because of Mr. Rod Serling, and continue to do so because of talented people such as Mr. King.

A Lot of my writing uses profanity and violence. I just let the stories write themselves, too. Part of the joy of writing is seeing it come to life.

I hear you on the profanity. I don't typically curse anymore so when I am writing it just doesn't come up in the dialogue as I follow the flow. I know it might not seem realistic to not use it in certain stories or with certain characters but with what I am writing so far it hasn't been needed - in my opinion of course, will see if anything ever gets published.
