Hi, I've been a fan of SK since grade school (started with Cujo and I was hooked). I've read almost everything Mr. King has published and loved most of it.

My favorites are"Carrie", "11/22/63", "The Shining" and "Joyland".
Confession: I am the rare fan who couldn't get into the DT series (not for lack of trying) and the even rarer fan who didn't enjoy "The Stand".

I found this board today and signed up because I don't have any friends who are "constant readers" and have no one to geek out with about my SK obsession.

After reading The Gunslinger, I thought I would struggle with DT as well, but I LOVED it all! Sometime, you may want to give it another try...I hate for anyone (esp a constant reader) to miss the journey.

Now I kick myself for all the years I wasted not reading them again and again.

Go to the Drawing of The Three first, if you must. But try Gunslinger again.

Maybe when school starts back up for boy, I'll check a few DT books out of the library. I don't have much quiet time in summer. Took me almost 3 days to finish "Finders Keepers"
