New to SKMB, but not Stephen King. I think I was 17 when I started with The Stand (hence user name) , I've probably read most of his fiction including as Richard Bachman . I think my favourite overall is 11.22.63 for the possibilities of starting over , love time travel stories generally. I like a lot of Sci-Fi and this novel was SK at his best I feel , outside of the horror genre really.
I have most in hardback and a large number paperback too, i have switched to kindle a couple of years ago as storage becomes a problem over time and I have always found it hard to throw/recycle/passforward books .
Only read the gunslinger series last year as I had ( totally incorrectly ) pigeonholed the series as "western" novels which are my least favourite genre of fiction. Loved the references to a lot of his other works as the stories progressed too .
Anyway enough for now .
