Doc Creed , I'm at work now so I can't listen to your songs yet, but I want to when I get home! Do you have the Smule "Sing" karoake app (if you have a smartphone or tablet)? I only just discovered it a few months ago, and it is so much fun! You can do duets and collaborations with other members. I love singing, too. :biggrin2:
No, I use YouTube which has an endless selection of songs but I will definitely check out the app. Thanks, and I hope you post a karaoke video of you singing.

Dude, this was AWESOME! It's my favourite GL song too. Fantastic job man. I can't hold a tune for crap, so I'm always envious of guys like you. Keep the videos coming, pal.
Thanks, Steffen. I promise I used to could really sing but a lung infection I had has done something to my voice. I know it sounds like a lame excuse but it's true.

I don't know. I guess it's a gift because my mind automatically picks out the different harmonies. It's like I just tune in to it.

Lucky/talented.

My mind always defaults back to the principal melody, even when I know what the harmony I should go for is.

I think I would have to extensively listen to nothing but the harmony voice for a long time, until it becomes the main melody in my mind. :ambivalence:

The world could use a little more harmony, whether it wants it or not. So when I'm not writing short stories and novels, painting, or sawing on my violin, I like to try to keep myself off of the street and away from gang-related activities by quickly for-fun-jotting down silly lyrics and then multi-trackingly improvising the lyrics into fully harmonized songs, often as a means of commemorating some special occasion, such as (in this case) the B-day of a junior entomologist with a talent for building bee houses. Of course, it is in the key of B...
