2016 Kentucky Derby - Here's my early picks (I'm going to the track Saturday and watch it on simulcast. Maybe I'll drink beer and gamble while I'm there too. I haven't decided ;-D)

1. Gun Runner
2. Nyquist
3. Mor Spirit
4. Mohaymen (I think this one possibly could be a surprise winner)

I'll probably do an exacta, Trifecta box and a Superfecta Key

I've read that Moyhaymen has been jittery all week so I'm taking him out and putting in Outwork. My new picks are

1. Gunner Runner
2. Nyquist
3. Mor Spirit
4. Outwork

I almost had a nice upset picked. Gun Runner was leading much of the way but ran out of steam at the end and finished 3rd. I did have a trifecta box that paid $86.70. If Gunner Runner would have won and Nyquist finished 2nd, I had a $10 exacta that would have paid nicely as well as a trifecta. I changed my #3 above to Exaggerator (finished 2nd) at the last minute. It was a fun day. I love going to the track but don't do it very often. I'll probably plan another day at the track when The Preakness rolls around.
