I know how much work goes into this sort of thing, so I apologize for being critical. Truly. But does this look like a room key? Kinda looks like a bike lock key, maybe? I was thinking of something creepier, like a skeleton key type of thing.
I was thinking safe deposit box but it's been so long since I've been in a hotel that uses actual keys I thought I might have forgotten that they do look like that. I do like the skeleton key type.

Actually yes. I grabbed an istock illustration with about 400 keys to choose from. To not a problem. Unfortunately, it will be a complete rebuild. I think it will look awesome though. So pressing on.

BTW: Still working on the realism and dinge factor on the mallets. Do we have a general consensus on whether or not we should include blood stains. Maybe some grass stains and dirt too?

Re Mallets- blood stains somewhere to differentiate from ordinary used mallets in a sports game and the horror act of The Shining. Spin your magic, Brian. Grass stains and dirt sound interesting.

Well, Grandma and her bestie (whose husband is a bestie of mine) are cooking up a summer travel extravaganza for summer 2016. It would be just my luck that it will fall during this gathering time.

So looking at the Giant's initial posting here, I see July 21-24 as the date set. Is that still solid? So I can lobby for dates other than that? Reaaaallllllyyyy hoping to make it.

Grandpa as far as I understand, those are the set dates for the Kon. Please ck with Scott to confirm.

If it's an actual patch, you can use Stitch Witchery or fabric glue. Staples work, too, in a pinch #boyscoutlessons
Ouch! (Wouldn't that hurt?)

King Kon version of Blood Wings?

p.s. Just joking - I was two pages back and saw a bit of humour in the post about Boy Scouts and staples.

Brian, would you be able to do something more like the ones in the post above?

I did a key earlier in the thread. Is that one out of the question?
