*bump*.....just wondering about the status/progress of the Kon t-shirts?.....last episode, Brian was slaving away over a hot hard drive, trying to finish things up and then, we went to commercial break and never came back.....
He had to put it on the back burner. Too many official projects that needed attention and since the Kon isn't until July of next year, we didn't think it would be a problem to back burner it until all this is over--might be January.
Completely understand. Kon Tee is an after hours project and big favor to those who will attend. Back burner will light up when the time is right.
Sounds very reasonable. Hope i can manage to be there.......
Me, too! It sounds like it will be a great group of people there.
Marsha, Please come; I think you would love the history and heritage and beauty of the Stanley hotel (all the not Stephen King related stuff) has its own beautiful culture and history.
I'm considering it.
I have some frequent flyer miles built up so might be able to swing it.

That would be great even if I don't make it. Based on the one I attended here in Maine and from what I've heard about the one in Ohio, I have no doubt you'll have a fantastic time.

It's not a firm commitment yet--lots of pieces have to fall in place but hoping it will be a go.

I'm endorsing a mini,kingCon on the east coast, starting in NYC, and moving to
Derry, [Bangor] it would only be a few people, who may or may not share

...have at it, I have endorsed that all along....anyone is welcome to hold an event outside the "official" Kon.......
I brought this up to hubby last night. I was waiting to see the Frontier Days lineup, since that is kind of "our thing" to do in the summer, just the two of us, and it is the same week as the Kon. No one either of us really wants to see this year, though.
He says we can go! Hopefully everything with work doesn't continue in a downward spiral and we actually can make it.
I am pretty excited.
And nervous. But mostly excited.

I keep hoping our friends across the water will have some little get together, a luncheon or something just to meet each other. Take pictures. Of course, now with all the unrest, this is a little horror story all its own.
