...yep, looks like my bookcase....literary kissin' cousins....
Is that a biography of Peter Sellers on the shelf below? What did you think of this book?
Thanks for sharing. I love seeing other peoples book shelves - I am endlessly fascinated by what people read. Looks like you like Bios as well. And Dune? Wow - I don't think I have enough brain capacity to attempt that one! Hats off to you Mr. Big Brain! (I'm serious, it's hard to tell without eyes and gestures).
Did you notice he has "Enchantment - the life of Audrey Hepburn" (right next to Clark Gable)?
I love Audrey! Very organized, this guy! Aside from keeping all my King books together, my shelves are a hodgepodge. And that just says so much about me.... Maybe I'll takes some pictures of my shelves and share. Will you?
I read a book about Peter sellers. Weird dude.
Pretty cool collection!
All my SK books are arranged in chronological order, except for The Dark Tower Series....they're on a shelf of their own.
My books from other authors are arranged alphabetically by last name, and chronologically......
I'm weird, I know.....
So the hubby is super duper anal (sorry - but who paints the inside of the closet to match the room?) and you are sort of 'laissez-faire'? It's proof that opposites attract!
So, What are ya trying to say?
Thanks for sharing, something very comforting about seeing books on the shelf!
Oh my! that's pretty intense there Sunny.
You are super duper anal or more 'laissez-faire'?
That's a pretty phrase to describe me, but yes - that's it. However, I internalize and always think there's something wrong with me because I don't alphabetize and paint the inside of closets (unless I'm told to).
I paint my closets to match the room. Ha!
Oh dear God! How'd I end up married to two of ya'll?
Hey. You don't bug me about the sex stuff and I won't hassle you about the closets.
...and I'm still trying to get over the cold chills from the phrase "super duper anal"...
Great biography. Sellers was a strange man, to say least. Nothing like the characters he portrayed.
Biographies are my favorite reading. Especially bios of Hollywood royalty.
