Does anyone have big plans for upcoming labor day weekend? I can not wait to have a Monday off.

Picking up my daughter from college on Saturday and preparing for the picnic. Cooking on the grill for our Labor Day picnic with family and friends on Sunday, then softball practice in the evening with the other daughter. Monday taking my daughter back to college.
Trying to finish painting one of our decks. Feels like it's taking forever.
And probably grilling a bunch of stuff

LOL, no. It's the first Monday in September and celebrated in U.S. and Canada. Started back in 1882 by the Central Labor Union. Just gives most of us a long weekend.
See... 'Central Labor Union.' I rest my case.
I think I'll do something different and sit around and drink beer all weekend..........
I always have Mondays off, so it's just a normal weekend for me. My daughter is at her dad's, so I'll be home alone.....

I am going to enjoy what is supposed to be a beautiful weekend(before it starts snowing). As of 5:30 today I am on vacation until Sept. 16th. Heading to Kentucky for a convention on Sept. 10th. Otherwise this weekend I will be....

Nothing planned. Daughter starts her vacation. More branch trimming. I should be done with that project just in time for the new Spring growth!
Not really a job per se, but when I was a volunteer in Wilkes Barre after Hurricane Agnes, my friend and I were given the job called "Dead Body Patrol" for three days. We were given the addresses of people family members couldn’t get a hold of, and we were instructed to look in all windows and report back what we could see. We weren’t allowed to enter the houses. But if the doors were unlocked we went in anyway... Hey, what did we know, we were only 15 years old at the time.

No I haven’t attended, but one of my kids wanted me to take her to it. Like Kentucky is right around the corner.
Ended up taking here to the three day SaikouCon convention instead because it was close and I could drop her off in the morning and pick her up later in the day. All I can say is you convention people are all crazy!
