I'm alright. Had to work a graveyard shift starting at midnight last night (to set up for our lovely Black Friday sock sale- the store I work at is well-known for this annual event- all socks are half off). Tried to sleep for a few hours before I had to be at work and then again when I got home at 9 am today, but didn't get more than a few hours altogether. Lack of sleep makes my emotional state of mind get out of sync which tends to make me abit emotional, so now I'm sitting here crying from missing my Mom. I hate feeling like this. My friend just got here. She has had no power for three days now from the wind storm. I told her she can come down and stay here in the heat if she wanted to. Gotta go for now.

I hope the company of your friend helps you to pass the time a bit better.

Doing something nice for others is just like you - I'm happy your friend is there to keep you company :cheerful:

Oh Honey, I am here. I certainly understand,I get crazy emotional with things too. It will get easier. You are always in my thoughts. Those Black Friday sales get so damn retarded. It is like they unleash alot of bad in people and take away from others Thanksgiving break.

NOt as far as I know. Haven't heard from her since she left this morning. I told her she is more than welcome to come back and stay if she wants til her power is back on. Her area got hit really hard, so it doesn't look like it'll be back on now til Tuesday. They brought in linemen from California and Seattle to help out.
