Cannot recall if I posted this here yet or not but just recently saw The Dallas Buyer's Club - very good movie and I would recommend it - great performances by Matthew McConoughy and Jared Leto.
'Allright, allright, allright.' This movie is excellant! Wonderful acting all around. Not a happy subject manner but based on a true story.

I agree, Chevy Chase's career has, since SNL, been almost nonexistent (except, I like Foul Play, Fletch, and most definitively Caddy Shack, in which, imho, he was a genius).
Chevy made the mistake of leaving SNL too early. His ego became much too large during his short time on SNL and he thought he was the greatest comedian to hit the scene. I think all he ever did on that show was prat falls. Oh, and he played the 'straight' guy on Weekend Update to Emily Letilla (Gilda Radner, who was way funnier!) and others. Earlier, Farrah Fawcett did the same thing when she was on Charlie's Angels. She was on for one season folks. One! Then she left to become a movie star and we all know how that went. It took her years to finally become known for more than that poster.....

So, the night before last I watched the first half of my Tommyknockers DVD on my bluray player. Last night I was all set to watch the second half (it's a two sided disc- you flip it over for Part 2) and my Bluray player can't play it!!! :grr: Gonna try it in my dvd player in the bedroom, but it won't be as fun or comfortable as watching it in the livingroom with Surround Sound, sitting in my recliner.

Fine, I'll switch to Budweiser to rehydrate.

Oh, wait, we have a Budweiser plant. Maybe a Canadian beer.

Paper Moon (1973)-this movie is so special to me. I save re-watches for special occasions. :love_heart:

Changeling (2008) - Eastwood can direct like nobody's business

Cake - Aniston does a good job in this one.

The Lucky Ones (2008) - I was really surprised to like this one, but I found it very endearing.
