Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance - 8/10 Loved it. Oldboy is a favorite of mine. Next up for me is Lady Vengeance.

Welcome to Me
- 6/10 Not bad at all. Sad movie. I think this is a one time watch for me.

The Living - 5/10 Okay, decent effort. Slow burn movie. Chris Mulkey does put in a fabulous performance.

Finished watching The Stand miniseries tonight...
Oh boy... Judge, Dana, Glen, Ralph & Larry :sorrow: ... I felt sorry in the end for Nadine and Harold too. Oh and Trashy! He ended up being one of my favourite characters.

So... Stephen had a lot of cameo spots, I can't believe how young he was in this!

P.S Miniseries Larry was hot!

Primer - again.

I swear I will understand that bloody movie one day. I mean I get it - I just can't follow it. My brain blows up after the third trip back .

I've watched It 9- 10 times now , but still I have to admit defeat .

Still the best .

Love that line! I also love the restaurant scene where Bob's buddy has set him up on a blind date, and the girl asks for bottled water from the waitress, Grace. I watch it over and over and laugh every time, esp when Bob's cell phone rings, and the date says, "I think you're a$$ is ringing," then explodes into laughter.
And what about
the dog watching the door, waiting for Elizabeth to come home? :a17:
Here's another one we use all the time:
Marsha: [later, as Grace is telling her the specials] That sounds so *fattening*. Is every dish here cooked in *oil*?

Grace Briggs: No... some we boil in Swiss water.
:)

And a hundred other quotes--Bonnie Hunt is a good, funny writer. Funny note: Return To Me is the only popular/secular movie that the brothers in the Trappist convent near us had for sale in their gift shop--lol! Monk approved, and STILL FUNNY! (and sad, in parts)
