I think, and someone correct me if i'm wrong, that he played the bad guy, Bane, in the last Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. Perhaps Danie is one of these that needs a bad boy.......?
You are correct, Kurben, though you couldn't see his beautiful face during the movie; he still rocked that role.
Bad boys, gentlemen, superheroes, villains: they're all fair game.

Von Ryan's Express (1965) - Frank Sinatra

Available on netflix. Good WWII action flick. I was a little skeptical when I saw that Frank Sinatra was the lead in this but he did good. I laughed at one part when there was a dead body to get rid of and Frank said, "get this stiff outta here." It struck me as funny because it sounds more like gangster movie talk that WWII movie talk.

Okay, we were surfing through and stopped at The Green Mile. Really great movie. Just so wonderfully done at so many levels.
We flicked to other channels during the botched and final executions because they're just a little too tough for us to watch. We've seen them once and knew how they went.

One benefit to last night was that we watched it on IFC, which doesn't cut movies. The last 2,847 times I've watched it has been on other cable channels, and I didn't realize until last night how heavily edited those versions are and how much context gets lost in that editing.

Incut movies are such an improvement. I always wonder if anyone pays attention to the cuts they make and do they notice how they are mucking up the story.
