I really like this movie, though there's one flaw I think: What was going on with the neighbors is a question unanswered.

Changeling (2008). A beautiful and tragic story about mother, who loose her son. A blur of mystery, slightly fixated on a detective line, it would touch your heartstrings. The main idea is that you should never leave a hope behind the back and give up.
Babel with Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt. I think it has the same director as 21 Grams and Traffic, not positive. Great concept, great execution.
Had to make choice a couple of weeks ago between The Hateful Eight and The Revenant. I went for The Revenant and I can’t help thinking that it was the wrong choice. For me The Revenant is an easy film to admire, a difficult one to love, which is pretty much how I feel about Birdman as well. So I guess this director is just not for me. Would love to see DiCaprio pink up the statue though.

Inarritu directed 21 Grams and Babel (and Birdman and The Revenant). Think Traffic was Soderbergh.
Goodfellas. Definitely my favorite gangster film thus far.
Rating Cain. John Lithgow plays a man with multiple personality disorder, one of whom is a serial killer. A real good, signature Brian De Palma flick.
I believe the title is Raising Cain. I've seen it too. "Hickory-dickory, Doc. Cain has picked his lock."
They had a very short scene together in You Again. It was the best part of the entire movie!
Same here. I could watch that movie over and over. The book it's based on is pretty good too.
The Revenant - dialogue between DiCaprio and Hardy:Maybe. I haven't seen the movie yet, but reviews (even on his performance) have been mixed. My Tom seems to be the standout in this one

Whos Minding the Store?. I was a lonely, sullen thirteen year-old when I saw Jerry Lewis's Cinderfella, the first movie since childhood to make me laugh out loud. I was suddenly happy. I must be part French since they are the first people to officially award his genius. Who's Minding the Store? is a good example of what I'm talking about.

Alan Rickman, Bill Nighy (sp?) as dueling stylists. Silly comedy, but to see Hugh Bonneville as a flamboyant hair professional was worth it. I kept laughing and squealing "his Lordship!" everytime he spoke.

Alfred Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train. Robert Walker's Bruno was one seriously batty character, and I was stunned that Hitchcock took a game of tennis and somehow made that nerve-wracking. Another classic from The Master of Suspense.
Minions. But it probably shouldn't count, since I slept most of the way through it--lol. The little yellow guys are cute in small doses, but not for a whole movie.
Even my kiddo was bored stiff...and he loves the Minions.
