The day after Thanksgiving finds you looking in the refrigerator, pondering whether a cup of eggnog and a bowl of stuffing is the dietary equivalent of scrambled eggs and toast.

(Note: I added Italian sausage to this year's stuffing, so the breakfast comparison becomes ever more enticing.)

We have tons of everything left. I way overdid, we could have fed double the amount of people. ;-D But that is good, no cooking for me today!!

Everything was delicious, and everyone enjoyed. But I do think my favorite part was watching RJ in his high chair, feeding himself and saying MMMM! after every bite. I enjoyed watching him enjoy it so much. :)

We made a lot of food, and people brought over a lot more. One single dish could've fed a family of 20, and there were about 20 dishes. We have leftovers by the tons.

First to go: It'll be the stuffing with the good spices and the sausage thrown in. I'd say the gravy as well, but I must've made a decent batch this year, because it was gone by the end of the night.

Last to go: I tried cranberry sauce for the first time, and while it was good, it didn't come out quite like I'd visualized, and there's just a question of how to eat it. I predict we'll use dabs here and there and end up dumping the remainder. Although salmon skilleted up in cranberry sauce has possibilities.....

So did you do the stuffing over the eggs and toast?

Dressing/stuffing is what the leftovers are allllllllllllllll about. I'll fight someone for my dressing this year - it turned out to be the best I've made yet.
Might have to fight you for the gravy, too, OoO.

I have dibs on all your leftover dressing and you will not win the gravy battle!:dizzy:
