After much hair-puling and aggravation, I've finally got my comic galley on its way to me. What a nightmare that was! I won't go into detail, but there's one printing service I won't work with again. The printing service I'm working with now is on the ball.

It hurts to say that this was at ground zero in the fire, hanging right by the sofa that went up first. I lost a lot of artwork, including paintings by my late mother.
I'm glad I have pictures of most of it. But it still stings.
I'm so sorry. That really hurts the heart. Thank God you have your pictures and the indelible memories. God bless.

...preliminary ideas are going to be a tribute to Nate that incorporates not only King but a motorcycle and a guitar.... the 2016 Thread has both his bike and guitars courtesy of Flake and we have the family's blessing to do this and they will probably want some shirts so no pressure ya know? Theme is "Sometimes They Come Back"...will get Steve and Marsha's blessing on using it of course.....

I don't know if you wanted to reference any of this, but his sister sent me one of the bookmarks they had printed up and had been giving out at his celebration of life. A couple weeks beforehand they had asked me about some of his favourite books and wanted Stephen King quotes to choose from. They went with these two.
The bookmark makes me smile and cry...
I wonder if there's a way to permanently memorialize all the members we've lost along the way. Like maybe have angel wings on the pocket oof our Con shirts or something. That way, they're all with us, every time.
