Merciful heavens!
I like snow days, but here in Memphis, it's really to warm for the snow to stay, so it turns to slush and then freezes over night and the roads freeze. We don't really get a winter wonderland.

We are very cold in the winter here. We do not get that wet snow often. It is the fluffy stuff.

I lived in Edmonton from 1990 until 1994 - very dry there - almost arid - I had a tough time dealing with extremely dry skin (but I liked seeing the Northern Lights up in Lancaster Park!~)
Yep and even drier in Fort Mac...it is classified as a winter desert.

We do get some snow here in Ireland and it tends to shut the country down. So as beautiful as the pictures are I kind of dread how awkward it can make things.
