Good evening!

What are some songs you like to listen to when you are drinking?

I'll start.

When I'm feeling cruddy and need to throw up, I will listen to

It was OUR song.

After my husband was called home and it was just me and our son

When I'm all happy

When I'm cranky

;;D

Please be so kind and post some songs you like to listen to when you are in a mood. (Whatever mood) (Drinking or not)

Thank you!

Dahmit!

My All happy song is Sister Sledge, We are family. Beg pardon.
I like that one, Sig. It reminds me of being a kid and playing kickball in the cove, radio playing. It also reminds me of Robin Williams, Nathan Lane and Gene Hackman.

Thinking of my ex-girlfriend and after too much rum:
Or My Heart Can't Tell You No by Rod Stewart

Happier times, beer & karaoke:

Upbeat '80s music, mixed bag.
Hey, Doc. What is upbeat 80s to you? The Ogre and I have very different ideas of 80s music. He'll give me a mixed CD with hair bands and the Go Gos. For me, 80s music was Talking Heads (Burning Down the House!), The Police, Howard Jones, tht kind of music. And Michael Jackson.

Don't be mixing ex-girlfriend thoughts and drinking - it's toxic.

If I'm a happy drunk, probably I'll be making up line dances to DMB.

For downtowning

Drunken Karaoke

If I need to cry over my dead folks, Brother Warren, brave and true

I like some of the ones you mentioned. I'm a big Howard Jones fan. Tears For Fears, The Moody Blues, Bruce Hornsby. Male or female...I like it all.

For upbeat '80s I play these alot:

Valerie- Steve Winwood
The Longest Time- Billy Joel
Take On Me- A-ha! (Don't judge me, lol)
Dance Hall Days- Wang Chung
Easy Lover- Phil Collins

My favorite decade for music.

.....it's either gonna be AC/DC, ZZ Top, Blues or Hardcore Country-like this young feller.....

This song would be cool if played at next year's Walking Dead finale. Rick, hollow eyed and tired, squinting into the dusk. Light burning over the tall grass as may flies loop. In his hand, gripping stringy black hair, Negan's disembodied head.
