I think I've been on the SKMB for around five years. I, unfortunately, didn't get to know Mr. Dalgish very well. I more remember GNT taking the lead and making himself available to answer any questions I had. I like a more one on one approach when I'm new somewhere so I thought then and still do so that the gesture was very kind and considerate of Scott . Later, I realized he was of the same family of Weisenheimers that I myself descend from and if I ever have the honor of meeting him I plan on buying him a beer and saying thank-ya properly:) Lots of members have endured countless boring stories and posts from me about a wide range of topics. I'm not sure if I'm part of the SKMB or just tolerated, but I respect everyone here a great deal for the common bond we have of enjoying all things Stephen King. It's a good place to come to and there's always something interesting to read about here on the SKMB. It reminds me a lot of a large extended family. Arguments, debates, laughs, cries, condolences, congratulations, the best of community seems to be represented here 24-7 to a large extent. A couple of members have reached out to me via PM a few times to just discuss various topics or just to ask "How ya' doin?" and that's cool, I very much appreciate it. I've never made friends fast or easily and the departure from LE still makes me very appreciative of all the relationships I formed there and here. This place reminds me of a bunch of friends sitting around a campfire just discussing whatever comes to mind. I appreciate that fact and always will. Stay safe everyone. Ghost.
aw hell yeah, you can't deny us now.

...oh it will be more than one beer ya yutz!...Imma make you buy me some JD to honor John and make me a strong old Boilermaker.....then, you're buying me dinner....after all....I'm not THAT kind of girl......
If we're drinking JD I'm glad you're medically trained...or there needs to be a hospital close by. My 43-year old stomach lurches at the thought of pouring a boilermaker down my gullet...lol

I'm almost famous for oversharing! An easier question would be what have I not shared?

I lurked about for a long time before I posted, shortly before the new format ( I think I joined in Sept 2013). I don't get out much. When I do - look out! All these wonderful reading people who love SK like I do - it was heaven for me. And the Calla speak!!! So exciting to find my people! Funny, smart, quick witted, open minded. We really should start a commune.

I guess my most infamous shared moment was my nervous breakdown. I spent Nov 2014 nearly catatonic. If I formed a sentence, it was here - where it was safe, where you couldn't see what had become of me.

And sometimes I couldn't talk but I could read the PMs and profile messages and feel the love - it's just hard to describe where I was and what hope that gave me.

The Ogre had it on this side of the screen, and you all took such good care of me in here. I emerged. More gratefulness. My cup runneth ovah!
