I've had good luck going through the main site and clicking message board so maybe there is something funky about the combo of your device and the site.

One thing you can do if you run Norton Security on your computer is set up the password vault. With Norton's password vault, you can store all your logins in the vault and login to all of your sites through the vault. Norton's password vault is a nice feature to use for many sites. It doesn't work on sites (like Banks) that use multiple pages for logins but it works great for sites like this.

No, I don't run Norton. But thanks for the advice.

Well, logging in once a day is not that big of a deal, it's more that I find it strange. Never had it so long before.

Not actually a logging in problem as such but just now it seemed as though someone else was controlling my cursor.

I removed the battery from my wireless mouse and have been using the touch screen.

Also I am running an AVG antivirus program in the background which is currently scanning my computer.

Using the touch screen is an annoyance but until the AVG screen/scan is complete, I don't think I should put the batteries back in the mouse.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

Thanks!

I call this the magic of the SKMB. Generally, I just stay logged in. But there will be days I start up the computer and find I need to log back in, even though I never logged off. Magic! :)

Maybe the mouse needs a good cleaning. That will make it jump and skip.

I use touch pad on laptop, but mouse at work. It can get icky, if you rolled over something or ate lunch with it. :sulkiness: Hey!

No problem for me. You might try taking the bottom off your mouse and cleaning the ball.

Do not go there. :dread:

Try to get them to help you over the phone. A lot cheaper than a house call. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions - I was out last night for several hours and my computer was off. When I returned I unplugged all the wires on my router, then plugged it back in.

I also put new batteries in the keyboard as well as the mouse.

Everything seems to be back to normal now but just to be sure I downloaded a new Antivirus (It's called Avira but seems a bit invasive - wanted me to choose them as my default search engine etc.)

Just so glad everything is working as it should at last!

That was damn scary - watching your cursor move of it's own accord!
