So my girlfriend is a giant fan of Mister Kings books. Books are a big part of her life both professionally and personally. I would like to get a signed copy of the IT. Which is her favorite book. However, I doubt I will run into a book signing anytime before now and Christmas when I would like to give it to her as a present. I am posting here in hopes that I can find a way. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hi,

I am not sure if you still haven't found what you're looking for? (that sounds like a U2 song!) but I have a Signed First Edition copy of IT. It was inscribed in 1991 and the book is Fine in a Fine dust jacket. Your girlfriend has great tastes, but if you are looking to find a genuine signed copy of Stephen's fan favorite novel, it will not be cheap. Unfortunately, there was never an official book signing for IT when it came out in 1986 and is probably the MOST forged first edition on eBay. Autograph hunters continue to stick these in Stephen's hands when they track him down outside, but those are modern signatures. To find a period signature shortly after the book was published is always going to be very difficult, as most people that were fortunate to see Stephen around Bangor at the time, are probably going to hold onto them as they will never depreciate in value. With the upcoming remake by Hollywood, and Pennywise's recent foray into politics (he lost in Maine's Presidential Election unfortunately), this book will never go down in popularity.

Happy Holidays.
Gerald

Well? Christmas is over, any luck? Pushing it back to her BDAY? Personally, I would love any signed SK book. There are plenty of the new ones out there, very reasonable. Including Finders Keepers, (my current favorite), Revival (another favorite), End of Watch (love it).... Hope you found one!
