New here.

I had never read Stephen King until the start of this year, thinking, wrongly that he was only a horror writer and I don't like horror as a genre. Turns out I have been missing out on what I guess everyone here knows already he is a superb author and observer of the human condition.

Having ripped through the Dark Tower series, and thoroughly enjoyed The Talisman (brilliant) Needful Things and now Revival I am looking for recommendation of what I should read next.

Thanks in advance.

You've read Revival already? Wow. I've heard that Stephen King himself has recommended The Dead Zone for new readers. A few of my personal favorites are Desperation, Misery, Mr Mercedes, Bag of Bones, The Mist, and a bunch of the short stories, including The End of the Whole Mess, The Jaunt, and Survivor Type.

Check out the Library (part of StephenKing.com) for ideas on what you think you might like...

Not finished Revival, I am currently listening to it on an audiobook.

I completely fluked out on Revival, as I was getting towards the end of Needful Things on Tuesday and so went shopping for a new Audiobook and brought Revival not realising it was its release date - accidentally contemporary and bang up to date - that's me ;)
