Hi guys, since I've moved reasonably close to the library I've decided I would like to get some copies of King's college work. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the process works.

I'm looking to get copies of the Maine Campus material (Garbage Truck and Slade mainly), the Ubris stories and poems as well as the Moth poems.

I'm assuming the Ubris and Moth journals are in a special collections area but I'm not sure if you are allowed to get copies or only read them. I assume the Maine Campus material is in microfiche which means I could make copies but it may take a few hours.

I would love to hear from anyone who has gone on this adventure previously.

Thanks!

We don't allow copies to be made of the items that are held in Stephen's collection--it's read while there only. No taking photos with cell phones either. Since they're not just Steve's work, I would think the Library has actual print copies of the publications you've mentioned rather than keeping them on microfiche and those would most likely be in the more public area of the Library rather than Special Collections but you would need to check with them.
