I was thinking...I never really liked the Monopoly board game but I think I would be more enthusiastic if it was a Stephen King themed board game.
For example, if one of the tokens/markers was a sledge hammer (Mr. Hallorann hit Jack with a sledge hammer in The Shining movie.) Better yet, a Mr. Grady token!
If I remember correctly, there are three properties that are highly valued? Instead, those places on the board could be...a Sandy Koufax baseball card, carnival glass lampshade and a piece of wood. (From Needful Things)
I'm spit-balling here.
What could be used as a Get Out of Jail card? Do Not Pass Go? What would the Jail square be?

I hear ya. I call that the Squirrel Syndrome. I get really excited about a project and then I see some shiny new project just in my peripheral vision and zoooooooommmm, I'm gone!
