This is a story of how I met the man of my life.

This Saturday has passed 6 months since I met my boyfriend Juho for the first time.
6 months ago my friend wanted me to come with her and party. It was last day of
April and we went to a bar that same evening. I was a single and wasn't looking for a
man. I just wanted to go out and have fun with my friend.

We had super fun. Around 2 am I became tired and wanted to go home (it was
May 1st at that time already) but my friend said to me that we aren't going home
yet, actually if she would have knew then she would probably have said "we can't go
now, your life's opportunity stepping front of you after one hour". So I had to stay
because she wanted.

I was to tired to dance anymore, so I only stood still on the dance floor even if my
friend tried to get me to dance. Suddenly I saw a old friend I've knew few years back
and we started to talk. I think we had at least a 15 or maybe a 20 min long
conversation. When he said that now he have to go, it was already 3 am at that moment. When he had left, I saw a young man in my age who stood all alone and looking around like he was searching for a lady to dance with. He saw me and I saw
him and then walked he walked up to me and asked if I want to dance with him. I said yes and we went dancing. After that I said to him that I have to look for my friend so
we can go home. He wanted to come with me and my friend and said that one of his
friend can drive us home so we don't have to take a taxi. So his friend drove us
home. Juho wanted me to stay overnight at his apartment (it's the same apartment
where I live in today :smile2:) At first I wasn't sure about it, but my friend almost pushed
me out of the car. So I had no other choice then go with Juho. I do not regret a single
day that I went to Juhos apartment overnight.

Next morning he drove me home. And when we arrived to my place I asked him if he still want to see me and he said yes, we changed phone numbers and he promised to
call me as soon as he had done some things that needed to be done. He didn't call me
the whole day and I was sure that he won't call and I have to continue my life as
single. Then he suddenly called later that evening and apologized that he hadn't call
earlier. He had fall asleep on the couch. He wanted to met me again and we decided
to go on a cup of coffee next day. So we did and after that we have been a
indistinguishable couple.

Now 6 months later we live together and share everything together. We had a
wonderful summer and I haven't had so fun summer in many years.

I am happy to have found my life partner and hopefully my future husband.

Sorry for a long story but I wanted to share our whole love story with you.
We are happy together and hopefully our happiness last forever.

I love this and you, Johanna. You're adorable and I'm glad Juho sees that in you, too.

But, but, but... does he like SK???
Just kidding; my husband doesn't.

What a wonderful story. I met my husband in a bar as well. And today is our 20th anniversary (not of marriage, but of when I moved in with him). It doesn't matter where or how you meet someone, if it's meant to be, you just know it!

All the best to you, jojo.

LOL! I met my husband in a pub, too :) He was the first person I saw when I walked in the door & I thought, "That guy's cute." I never would have talked to him, though, except that I knew a friend of his. The guy asked me out & asked if my friend might go out with his friend, who happened to be the cute guy at the bar. We went out, I liked the friend better than my date, and here we are nearly 25 years later.

Congrats!! ((Jojo and Juho))

Add me to the list of meeting my hubby in a bar. I also went home with him that night, moved in with him about 1 1/2 months later, got engaged after 4 months and married 4 months after that. This past August marked our 20th anniversary of meeting. I agree with carrie's younger brother. Sometimes you just know!

Best of luck to you all and keep us posted!!

Congrats!!

I met the woman who became my wife in an airport. In New Delhi. She was standing in the crowd holding a big sign with my name. She had been persuaded by a friend of us both to show me around while i was in India. She had reluctantly agreed. Same with.. i don't need to be shown around! That was my attitude. That first day, and night we talked about everything and it was fun! Some years later she moved to sweden.

Thank you so much my friends!!
I realize that I maybe never get enough money to travel to US again as I had when I was single but I have a super wonderful
partner that I love to death that I hadn't when I still had that money to travel. AND there is certain things we women can't do and
then it's good to have a man who can do them instead. ;-D I have learned so much about how it is to live with a man and share
everything. Maybe we someday get money to travel to US again at the latest on our honeymoon. So much have changed in my life and I like these changes. :wink2:

...honey, I think of you as another daughter, and nothing gives me more pleasure than knowing of your happiness...too little of it in the world these days, and you have certainly brightened my corner...all love from Tracy and I...
