My brother thinks it CURES cancer. It manages the pain, I never heard it was the cure. If that were true it would be a medical miracle. I know a doctor who said it doesn't cure it, and they give it to people with cancer (and now seizures) because it manages pain and stops seizures. They give addictive medicines to people with terminal illnesses, or at least used to, because the addiction part doesn't matter as much. It used to be a last resort thing to do.

There's a volume of data coming out about hemp products' beneficial attributes which were never allowed to be published or even explored before because it was all illegal.

Whether you like or dislike the legalization of marijuana, this is a travesty. If a product is potentially beneficial to certain condition, then explore the damn thing!! It doesn't help the sufferers one iota to hear, "It may have helped you, but we classified it as illegal, so we didn't allow research." This is insane and scientifically dishonest. You have to explore the avenues that bring real potential.

Disclaimer: I'm in Colorado, and it would be entirely legal for me to buy and smoke, but I don't, don't wish to, and don't intend to.

I feel ya. I bear no tolerance for stoners. But Cannabis oil cures cancer. We need this plant to be legal for that reason.

It does cure cancer. Google Cannabis oil cures cancer and be prepared to be amazed. You can also google Rick Simpson oil.

Lepplady, you may have already posted this, but a hemp extract is showing promise for childhood seizures as well, and the particular strain is very low in THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the active ingredient that's the primary intoxicant).

Don't make these patients wait so long. Run the clinical trials. Yeesh.

I never got into smoking weed, even when I was actually doing a wide variety of drugs in my 20's. The first time I smoked in Junior High it gave me a migraine headache, and every time through the years when somebody would say "Come on man, this stuff is different it's over-priced hydro from california" or whatever, I would still get the same damn headache. Even smelling it when somebody in the area smokes it is enough to trigger one...... I don't do well with cigarettes, incense or hookah either.

That said, they might as well just legalize it, It's no worse than alcohol ( And in alot of ways better for you). I always felt like the only purpose making it illegal served is to put money into the justice system by having a bunch of stoners paying out their ass in probation and court costs.

    ????

Hoss has indicated that this may mean 48 states and two territories to go. I'll go with that.

The Pennsylvania Senate Committee just approved the Medical Medical Marijuana Legalization Bill two weeks ago. But with time running out ahead of the summer recess, a full Senate vote on medical marijuana is unlikely this session. With a governor’s race in the making, it appears the only thing both Democrats and Republicans can get together on here anymore is getting high. And with the quality of candidates on both sides, at least it can help relieve the pain. ;)

Or 50 states and territories like Puerto Rico and the US Virgin islands.

The good news, here, is that more people can now obtain this plant legally and cure themselves of pesky little diseases like cancer. The more states, (or territories. Whatever) the better. And as fast as possible.

Yes. 48 states and two territories are left. As I said, Hoss cleared it up. It came across originally as there were 52 states.

Yes. Clearing that up is much more important than the message that (albeit slowly) people are legally becoming able to cure themselves of terminal cancer. Job well done.

Lighten up. I support marijuana in any form 100%, but especially as a medical tool.
