Having recently enjoyed many of Stephen King's recent works, as well as Joe Hill's NOS4A2, it struck me how enjoyable it is to see some of the allusions to earlier works. (Is this the correct term anyway? I wasn't an English major!). Because people are probably at different parts of various Stephen King books, I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. Derry, Maine in 11.22.63 really added something from my perspective! The True Knot were referred to briefly in Joe's novel, as well.

I'm sure I've missed a ton of examples, so what are some of your favorites?

I started to see the connections back in the mid nineties, but what has always impressed me is that fact that they are not forced upon the reader. Some are subtle but all of them are integral to the story.
