Have you tried the silicone lids? Microwave, oven, dishwasher safe. They come in a variety pack, or individual.

Ok, y'all are going to think I'm one of those wierdos who sits in their pickup truck on lonely country roads waiting to get a glimpse of a flying saucer but... I don't trust alien technology (which is how I view silicone lol). That stuff is strange! It reminds me of those stress dolls - which I would never put in a microwave. Everything I nuke goes in a Pyrex bowl or fiestaware mug covered with a damp paper towell.

Have y'all seen those Adipose stress dolls? I want one lol.

Again not a microwave bad...more of warning. If you are going to be reheating fish in the microwave, please give coworkers a heads up.
That is just so wrong - who brings stinky fish to work anyway - and then reheats it in a microwave!?? Yikes

ooops - on second thought - I hope it was not YOU who did it, was it arista ?

The microwave at work is on its last legs. Sometimes two minutes will boil a bowl of soup to a nice scalding temperature......other times five minutes will only bring the same soup to barely lukewarm.
We have a staff meeting today, and my co worker Cathy and I are gonna suggest that everyone contribute $5 toward buying a new microwave.......wish us luck!
