Cris Ortega. She's a computer artist, (whatever the term is for that) but I love her work. The woman has an obsession with haunted mirrors and other dark subjects, but she also has some purely beautiful pieces.

There's an artist named Krista May. She does wonderful paintings of scenes and cats. I've enjoyed her work for some time now, but haven't really been moved to buy a piece - even though she's quite reasonable.
Until today.
I saw this one and had to have it.

We (sadly) don't get snow where I live, I'm a sucker for Christmas lights, and I have a black cat. this one really spoke to me. I snapped it up the instant I found out it was still available. (I thought it was sold already.) Now I'm all giggly.
Those lights aren't photoshopped effects. This is an original painting. What she did was poke real lights through the canvas. I love it.
