So sorry to see this Sunny. His letter did bring tears. Please keep us posted as to when the contest will be held again. Will start manifesting the van- for next year- now. May the Lord have it in His plan for the next go-around.
Just a little update on the van for Jay.
Jay's best friend, Tom has just set up an account on a fundraising website. Our goal is to buy the van for Jay anyway, and to help with some other expenses.
In just two hours, $2,795 has been raised.
I am so blessed to live in a community where the people pull together to help each other out.

It really is awesome. Tom figures that we should be able to raise enough for the van, and a special dining room table, and a racing wheelchair....

UPDATE: As of Friday, September 18, almost $85,000 has been raised for my friends Jay & Lisa.
They made a trip to High Point, NC yesterday to look at and hopefully order the much needed specially equipped van for Jay.
Next on the list is a better wheelchair, and some equipment to make their home more Jay friendly.
