Mom and Dad are back on cam in Decorah, Iowa! I have been watching these wonderful parents for a few years now. It is amazing the things you see... It can get gory at times with the feedings.... but you get over it.

We have two eaglets! Another one to hatch any time now... You can watch them grow.. get nervous when they get close to the edge.. See their first flight..

Here is Mom protecting juvie eaglets from the rain last year.. and getting a good beating!

I've seen bald eagles more frequently in my area. A few weeks ago, there was one flying around my neighborhood. I saw a bird earlier this week, but I think it was a hawk. Didn't look big enough to be an eagle...

...they are starting to re-populate in our area, Tracy and I will be taking the Wrangler around the lakes this year with our cameras, in hopes of getting one to smile purty for us...
