Same with me, Arista. The older I get, the more I look like her-- people always tell me that and it's true. I look in the mirror now and see my mom looking back at me. It makes me wistful and happy at the same time.I miss my mother every day. It seems the years have not lessened the ache that her passing left. I wish she could have enjoyed my son growing up. I know she watched over him from above.
What are you? "Psycho"?A boy's best friend is his Mother................
What are you? "Psycho"?
How lovely! This is my Mom and I at my High School graduation. I am the only one of her three children to graduate High School. I have never felt a feeling like I did that day. I made her so proud. I love my Mom more than anything. We share amazing memories together. I love that even tho i am married now and live half a country away. I can still call her in the morning and chat about stupid stuff.

I'm grateful for it.What a memory, Mz.Doo, what a memory.
Me too. I'm sure she looks out for all three of us.Oh my gosh, how touching and so sad. I'm glad she got to "talk" to your son.
Thanks for the hug. I'm sorry for the way things ended with your father. I can still get a laugh out if the memory. That's a nice way to look at things! The last conversation I ever had with my father was a fight. He died unexpectedly a few months later. That was a little over a year ago. Having a positive "last" memory is something to be grateful for. I know that's probably not much comfort when you love and miss someone...(Here's a hug for you, too!)
