I did see a trailer for it while waiting for It to start. I didn't know what to make of it but it gave me an unsettled feeling.
Yes, I guess I should say, for me, it gave me an indication of what was coming, what the story was going to be about. Did I know it was going to be this unusual style? No.

I'm predicting this movie may be to you what 'Mulholland Drive' is to me- an enigma begging to be solved but has many interpretations?
Exactly. That's exactly it. As cryptic and intricate as Mulholland Drive was, this movie is sort of in the same category. Mulholland Drive is in a class all by itself -- but both are artistic think pieces.

I'm not claiming this is the feel good movie of the year for sure. It is weird. But, for that one moment in time I saw it, it really intrigued me.

Another day, another mood -- I may have hated it too.

Wow. This movie is getting thrashed and trashed.

I guess I'm the cheese who stands alone because I just went for the ride with this thing. Just absolutely fascinated by the visuals and sound of it.
Working in retail I know that most folks will be vocal with complaints and not say anything if they've received the best service in the world, so maybe that's what's happening with this movie? I'm sure that there's folks out there besides you that liked the movie but they just aren't being vocal about it.

Dana Jean here's an article I thought you'd be interested in.

I'm still waiting to see if our theatres will show it. I've seen a few of Aronofsky's films before, and he isn't the sort of guy who's interested in telling stories in a conventional manner. I've seen the bad reviews and they don't really sway me much. I want to see it.

Thanks! Derisive and Perplexed are great words for it. It is strange. It is incoherent. It's just weird. But, again, I liked it.

It was something different than I was used to and I like to challenge myself and my mind. This definitely challenged it. That's why even though it is getting such bad ratings, I hope that more people will go see it so I can hear their thoughts about it. Positive, negative, good, bad, indifferent.

And there are things I'd like someone to explain to me.

Again, the sound was great, the choreography had to take a lifetime to make it what it was. I'd like to know how many times they had to film the scenes where the camera floats along with Jennifer through the different rooms that are becoming increasingly weird and destructive.
