It's not Tuesday yet?!? I'm gonna die. Not only does Mr. Mercedes come out but the deluxe editions of Led Zeppelin I, II and III come out. I can't wait (well actually I suppose I have no choice). I suspect I know what the soundtrack of this book is going to be for me.

Hmm...I didn't win the book, I had to pay for it. I don't mind though, I'm already quite sure it was money well spent.
The race is on, led zeppelin deluxe I, II, III won, but Mr Mercedes is still running against Robert Aickman's Dark Entries which is finally coming out on kindle today. Here's hoping Stevie doesn't finish last.

Done. I didn't want to put it down. I can't remember the last time I read a novel in less than six hours, it would have to be one of Louis L'Amour, Arthur C. Clarke or Alistair MacLean's 150 page books. Certainly nothing of this length.

what's on the horizon? anything? probably. for some reason I was thinking something was coming in November...maybe there is & I'm having a senior moment. Notice that few people talk much or maybe brag is the word...or not...about getting old? yeah. so I get to go to the new clinic today, up by the Rockhouse course they got M-26 through Ripley tore up so I ought to leave early, be there.

Anyone else having trouble working today? I went to Barnes and Noble a few minutes before it opened. When they opened the doors, the "Mr. Mercedes" book display was in front when I walked in. Of course, I wore my "Keep Calm and All Hail the Crimson King" tank top for the occasion (I admit, I did a little happy gasp when I saw the display.) It was pretty cool to me,but no one else noticed! I am a huge geek, ha! Can't wait to get started.
I stood in front of Target this morning 5 minutes till opening, with a pointy teeth ear to ear grin.
Now I am gleefully reading Mr. Mercedes.
Dumb me, ordered from Amazon won't get until Thursday. sigh
I'll be going to B&N this afternoon and picking up two copies--one to read and one for the collection (I like to pick out my copies so I know they're good). My UK copy should be here June 17 from Amazon UK.
