I got it! It's a gourd, so I have to decorate it somehow. I don't know if I'll stain it, wood burn it, paint a design....still trying to figure that out. And yes, it came with *choke* goat skin.

Good luck, remember, get it stretched scary tight. You can tune them with knots etc in the string. And take your time on the decoration. It's your drum and will hopefully be around a long long time

Thank you. I may be asking your advice as I move through the process. But first, the decorating. Not sure what I will do, but I want it to be beautiful.

I used to play the harmonica, could play a few tunes. but the hardest thing on a the harp is bending the notes through the holes to get alower note. Can't do it now. SMoke love the harmonica

Played trumpet in grade school. Rented a saxophone for 6 months once in the 80's. I play guitar and sing.
