They haven't let him out on bail at all because no amount of money would be enough to prevent him from taking off.

Apparently his lawyer has said he will plead guilty to all charges (which probably mean some charges get dropped because they throw everything at you....same in the US right?). The lawyer said there is no plea agreement. But, by pleading guilty he will likely get less time because he is accepting responsibility.

Plea bargains get the public very angry here...ever since Karla Homolka.

He did plead guilty today. He was granted bail. (One million.)

A lawyer not involved in the case says maybe 10 years, but that's her educated guess. Could be more because of the number of deaths. Could be less because he has no criminal record. (It is known he has driven drunk before, but I'm not sure any actual charges or convictions.)

Different lawyer, different news station, said he thinks it might be 15 years.

The mother of the three children was being interviewed. She has been receiving letters from across the country and even outside Canada from people that want to sent letters as victim impact statements.

Personally, I would like to see these three children become the face of MADD in Canada. (Only if their mom and dad were agreeable.)

They were in court today. The parents gave victim impact statements. I'm not sure who else did.

Judge to consider views of nearly 100 people in sentencing Muzzo | CP24.com

The judge who is presiding over Marco Muzzo’s sentencing hearing will consider the views of 92 people who have wrote in, vouching for the York Region man’s character.

This pi$$3$ me off. If he brought 92 and there were 'nearly 100' that means less than 7 gave victim impact statements? There were letter from all over the world, and I thought letters from a class were being presented.

Classmates of the oldest boy, well they wouldn't go, but their parents could have spoken up.

According to court documents, Muzzo has been convicted 10 times for speeding between 2003 and 2015. He has no previous convictions for impaired driving.

<snipped>

Muzzo could face up to 10 years in jail.

10 speeding convictions? He deserves nothing less then the maximum the law allows.
