Have you ever seen Lloyd's paintings Sharon. They are featured on the Republic of Doyle if you watch it. I have one called THe Marion...I love it. It is a print. I could not afford a Lloyd Pretty painting.

I watch Republic of Doyle faithfully every week. We even saw our old house downtown on one episode! I always noticed the pictures hanging at their office and at home and thought they had good taste. I'll be sorry to see this show end this season, as it's almost like being home sometimes.
They use Lloyd's paintings for their walls on the set.
Cool as a lime slurpy. He also did painting for President Ford and Bing Cosby. Dat boy had ARRIVED!
This is another painting Lloyd did of his next door neighbours years ago...the dog's name is Gandalf. Lloyd, also, signed a contract with an american card company recently called learning tree or leaning tree, lol, I cannot remember the name. You may be purchasing his card scenes. He does snow scenes so good.

Did I mention that he plays guitar, too and also writes? There is an anthology he is writing and he is using some of me poems ....if he ever gets it finished lol.
Excellent artwork. Good look with your poems and the anthology. What genre is it? And is he self-publishing?
I have no idea if he is self publishing..but I doubt it. Lloyd is offered many assignments. He has paintings he has made for US presidents and a guy named Bing Crosby. This year, he is going to be busy for he has signed a contract to do greeting cards for a major US company. His style varies so very much. Unbelieable really. His sister, my cousin Doreen, does paintings, too....she is more into cartoons, though.
The genre would be anything involving Newfoundland...that is where we are from.
Lloyd, also, does photography. He sells that as well. This is a photo of water splashing over a little branch ....freezing as it drips. He calls it Frozen Bells. He talks about how beautiful nature is...I kinda think he is beautiful as well. He gives so much beauty.

I have bought many Leaning Tree cards - I usually find them at really unique specialty stores/boutiques and they are the most artistic greeting cards I've ever seen!
