I am beginning to suspect there exists a deity, whose sole purpose is to prevent me from finishing his movie. He/she certainly tried today, lots of very bad things suddenly sprang up in the morning to the point where I was almost an emotional wreck, but the show went on. We got a very good chunk of stuff, a lot of it very funny. We did well. :)

(((Cappy))) I'm glad it turned out in the end, but wish that you hadn't had to jump through hoops to get there.

I am beginning to assemble the movie. All the pieces are falling into place, only a tiny bit of filming (not especially strenuous) left to do, so, if I'm lucky, it'll be finished next weekend. I'm on the home stretch, all the hard stuff is basically over. I'll make a trailer of some sort ASAP.

I possibly may have already asked this, but what equipment are you using, out of curiosity? Not that I know much about that stuff, but I was wondering if you are either renting or purchased expensive equipment (I tried to get some friends of mine to pool our money together to acquire one of those pricey Canon cameras so we could make a film that looked like film to some degree, but we failed to get that going).

Also, and again maybe I already asked this, what is your ultimate goal? Do you want to be a director? If so, why? I always found that to be the least appealing part of the process (not that I ever directed a movie). To me, if I ever made a film, it would be for purposes of getting into screenwriting. Screenwriting to me is fun; being on a movie set I think would bore me. This is not meant to be critical, to be clear, just curious (my preference to write is just how I feel).

Just a hand-held digital one that I own. For the next instalment in the series (more on that at a later date), I'm thinking I'm going to try and get a budget of some sort via crowd funding, mainly to get better equipment.

I would love to be a director. Screenwriting is probably the most fun part, I'd agree, but I am a control freak, so I basically need to be there every step of the way. Being on the set is often fun, at least it was for this movie, 'cause I was with friends, but it can be very stressful, and I can get quite high-strung. So, yeah, I guess it depends on the person in question.

Just thought I'd give a quick rundown on some things you may wanna know:

- Yet another slight issue. The computer I'm editing on has gone berko, and, basically, all the white pixels have gone pink. This is irritating, and might slow me down a bit.

- All that is left to film is the finale (easy peasy) and some monologues of mine (even easier).

- As it currently stands, there is a LOT of swearing. "F" words and "s" words and "c" words everywhere, sometimes in strange and unusual combinations. I'm gonna talk to my actors about how much of it they want in (some of them may regret going overboard), but be prepared for a very rude movie.
