My name is Ryan and I have been a Stephen King fan for over ten years now. My mother is the one who got me into liking the scary side of life and introduced to me to Stephen King's work. She always tells me the story of how she had to read Salem's Lot during the day and it still gave her chills. I have many of his classic works and have thoroughly enjoyed his newer works in past the five years, especially Joyland and 11/22/63. I am currently a graduate student going for my Master's in history and that alone requires a ton of reading, most of it dry and boring, but informative. So when I just need a break and want to read for fun, I shift through my collection of Stephen King's work and have at it. It's amazing how much a good story can help me recharge and want to read anything after that. Thanks Stephen for all the wonderful stories and writing you have published over your life.
