Dang, that's awful! As bad as it was for the guy who got hit, can you imagine how awful it must have been to be the driver who hit him? Presuming he was not doing something stupid like texting while driving and the guy just came out of nowhere. Sitting in a 3 hour traffic jam would drive my shoulders up to my ears and I'd have a headache all day long. You need some wine.

I think every person who dies on a road should automatically have a permanent spray paint outline sprayed around them. (It would serve as a reminder for the public to drive more safely). Several years ago, A kid was hit in a neighborhood nearby. They painted the outline in the way he landed. Every time I drove through for the next several months (till it faded), I said a prayer for the kids family and the kid. Made me drive safer in that area.
