...the tears have ceased for the nonce...but my mood is a melancholy one...though my heart is strengthened from everyone's support...I didn't wish to be grim yesterday, but I knew you would all have my back and provide solace in a trying time...
(((GG)))... Hey GG.... Sometimes it helps to tell a one or two good things about someone who is so dear who has 'gone on ahead'... If you would like to share or are able, we'd like to hear about Crow. How you guys knew each other, and maybe a funny or endearing event or trait that is perfectly him... Only if you want to.. we are here for you.

...nice idea honey...I first got to know Crow many years ago, when I got back into the collecting of comics...he was a huge enthusiast as well as a comics dealer and a movie buff of no small genius...he used to rent the local cinema out for "Midnight Movies" of his favorite genres...anything big screen adaptation-wise of DC or Marvel comics and also Star Trek and LOTR...and he would invite a small group of his friends to enjoy with him...I was fortunate enough to be on that short list...my favorite thing about him was, despite his age-he never lost the childlike enthusiasm and love of "other worlds" and iconic heroes, and was an encyclopedia of not only the characters, but writers and illustrators as well. I am also proud that I turned him on to the Dark Tower graphic novel adaptations, he would get me my copies, and always get himself one so we could talk storylines...his heart-before it failed-was as sweet as any man I've ever had the honor of knowing...I will do my level best to be on hand tonight for the viewing, and next Summer for a memorial gathering...
