...Hiya kids!.....as many of you know, I have been a Broadcaster for 36 years and counting...most with the studios here in Cambridge...well this morning, the original tower-put in place in 1948 was brought down....it had become structurally unsound and replaced by a new 100 foot taller "stick"...I watched the entire process with a sense of sadness as my old friend came to earth....I can't begin to fathom the amount of words and music I pumped through that piece of metal over 3 plus decades, and wanted to be on hand as an homage....fascinating to watch, but hurt my heart as well....I brought a piece of the old girl home with me-a side marker light that's been there since the start, and will always treasure it...may seem silly, but it has been part of nearly my whole life....
