The apple blossoms reminded me of the Cherry Blossoms here in DC that are so beautiful in early April. My favorite time of year, and to imagine my Grandfather and I taking a walk and having them shower on us... ah, I may need to write about it.

Thanks for asking - still have lingering sore throat but I managed to go to the gym for an hour for a bit of a sweat - I had to skip the last three days so it was nice to go today.

I was born in DC and have vivid memories of the cherry blossoms from when I went back to visit when I was a bit older.

When I read that part yesterday, I wanted to try it-I always have "kitchen matches" on hand. Thought about it for around 30 seconds and decided against it-with my luck I would either set myself on fire or burn the house down.
