So I was fortunate enough to obtain a couple of the last few book signing tickets for this Sundays "Finders Keepers" book signing in Brighton, ME.

I will be making my first trip to ME, and I have done plenty of research and found places of interest that I would like to see but I would like to get everyone's input here.

I know there are some of you that have been all over the state, some that live there and plenty that have wishlist / bucket list SK related sights that they would like to see when or if they ever do get to Maine. I would like to hear those suggestions and hopefully some ideas will come up that I didn't think of.

Of course a trip to Bangor, just to get the photo in front of his Home is on the list. Love to hear everyone else's thoughts!!

Bar Harbor for sure. You've already got Bangor on the list so there is most of your SK stuff. If you can, take the SK Tour. Stu will take you all over the place. If you don't do the tour Mt. Hope cemetery(where they filmed part of Pet Semetary is right close by, The "Barrens" too. Lots to see. I live here so if you need any help with anything feel free to send me a message!

I know it's par for the course these days and it's a sad fact of life that these people do this. It just irritates me to no end. I live here and can't go yet this person is coming from North Carolina only to make a profit. I'm not trying to sound whiny here(which is exactly what it sounds like, lol) but only to state that that should be a treasured item. I have two signed books and they will either be buried with me or willed to someone who will keep them and cherish them as I do. So I also don't mean to sound greedy but there are many of us out there who want to go to these for the memory or to have the book for ourselves. I honestly wouldn't even care about having another signed book but these seem to be the only way to meet him these days. I can't seem to ever "happen to run into him" in Bangor! ;-D
I imagine things like this MUST drive both you and him crazy but you're both probably used to it by now. Another sad thing.

North Carolina? I wonder if there's another one as the listing I found says it's shipping from Arlington, MA. The other nice touch is that the listing says Proof pictures of Steven signing will be provided. :rolleyes:

Yes, the one I saw said shipping from NC. Maybe a shark will get 'em before Sunday (sorry, that was kinda mean but it had to be said ;-D)
