You've seen Seconds? Holy cow!

Years after seeking his help in catching a transvestite serial killer, an female FBI agent seeks everyone's favorite cultured cannibal just as one of his surviving victims sets his sights on revenge.

Seen it and enjoyed it. It was a few years ago mind you, I was a bit of a movie nerd when I was younger and there was a time when they used to show all sorts of interesting movies on British Television. That was back when he had far fewer channels and somehow more choice than we do these days. Might have caught it on Moviedrome come to think of it, but that won’t mean too much unless you’re British and of a certain age and disposition.

Actually, I’m surprised that nobody has thought to remake Seconds. It’s a great premise but the original movie is good without exactly being a classic, and as alluded to it’s not exactly well known so somebody could put their own mark on it and not have to worry about upsetting legions of fans of the original.

A graduate student in New York City stumbles upon a conspiracy involving diamonds, a shadowy intelligence agency, and one truly scary dentist.

"Is it safe?"

A reckless young Secret Service agent throws away the rulebook-- and his morality-- in an effort to nab the master counterfeiter who killed his partner. Features a truly tubular soundtrack by Wang Chung.

A disgraced former Secret Service agent-turned-hardboiled P.I. teams up with a disgraced football player to investigate the murder of the latter's girlfriend, coming across a conspiracy to legalize gambling in professional football. Lots of violence, one-liners, testosterone. And then some.

Psycho, of course.

A woman from England who is unable to speak gets sent to New Zealand as a mail order bride for a tight-arse man and falls in love with a free spirit with Maori tattoos. (set in the 1850s)
