On August 15, we all kick back.

August 12th was when our daughter was born. So sure, there is a day in August that we actually do celebrate.

On August 6, the US atomic-bombed Hiroshima.

On August 8, the US atomic-bombed Nagasaki.

On August 15, Emperor Hirohito announced Japan's surrender.

Sorry for the tangent. Just keepin' it real for August.
