I am a Constant Reader from Greece and I would love to come visit Washington DC at National Book Festival and get a chance to meet Stephen King and maybe get a book signed by him!!!
The only thing is I cannot find information about tickets for this event or if Stephen will meet fans and sign books. Can anyone help me please?

Moderator is on duty today, now that it is Monday - good luck!
(That is, if she does not get snowed in by the 12 inches of snow that fell in her area):snowman:

Thank you Dana, Moderator, Spidey, Neese, Blunthead all for your kind replies and your time! I am a huge Stephen King's fan (it's not like I have a lot of money, but I will save money for that purpose) and I hope with all my heart to be able to make it! Thank you again!

My guess is that this will have to be a ticketed event. The crowds are just too large to manage a first come, first serve King appearance at the NBF. That is probably good news/bad news for those that have to travel. The good news is that you would know in advance that you will get in if you can get a ticket. The bad news is that the tickets will go fast and many will likely be reserved for donors and VIPs (interpreted broadly in DC) so it will be easy to miss out. And the larger the event the less likely King is to sign since about 500 is his max for signings. They could do something along the lines of the George Mason event where you get a ticket to his appearance and then some lucky folks also get a signing ticket for a signed book afterward. Or there could be no signing whatsoever which is a bit of a bummer.
