As far as pattern weights, if you don't already have them consider large, flat washers (around 3/4" to 1.5"). I like those, and they're cheap. You just have to be sure to wash them first, just in case they have lingering machine oil.

I LOVE no bounce no play 's pattern! Those type are super easy to make, and that cut looks good on just about everyone.

The more I think about it, the more I'm losing my enthusiasm. The squirrel in me just nodded off. Maybe I can hire someone to make this?????Where you go for fittings and such. And I'll have to wear Spanx or some other rubberized scuba suit thing. Hey! Maybe I need to get one of those waist shaping things. My ankles would be huge because that food baby has to go somewhere.

I love the retro. My problem: My measurements are very very....very different than what they give on back for each size. I'm big in some places and smaller in others. How do I make this dress fit me? Any easy tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm working alone so don't have any extra sets of hands .

I don't sew or wear dresses(makes me feel like I'm pretending to be a grown up) but I LOVE this dress! I hope you get it done one way or another!

Okay, get your wife over here. That is a real talent to be able to manipulate patterns and material and make clothes that actually fit and look good.
