I have said this to Teddy before, if I found Aladdin's lamp, and was offered 3 wishes, I would want Teddy's health issues to be gone, I would want my children to have all the money the would need to live without worry, and lastly, I would like to go back in time for just 24 hours with Teddy, when I was 21 years old (he would be 18).... yeah....

My favorite toy as a kid. Got it for Christmas in '76, lost it, need to have it back at some point before I die.
If I reach out my left foot I can touch one right now. Got it at an antique store in Huntsville Alabama for 3 bucks along with a super sized Spiderman team up and a stack of Dynamite magazines. I'll trade for a thing bank-upload_2016-10-11_22-35-14.jpeg
What I want though is a first edition Dracula... or Carpenters Thing poster... or an Alien poster... or a Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things poster or... ooo ooooo a Night of the Living Dead Poster... or Tarantula or Phantasm or... yeah Gaunt would get my soul I reckon.

Very close, but it was tiny and more grey-feathered. I have seen mockingbirds in the same tree, so it's possible, but I'm not sure. I usually check two Alabama bird websites when I'm unsure. I need a fieldguide, too, while I'm wishing for needful things. :)
That's probably close to its size, though. It stands stiff legged and appears to stick to tree like glue, very odd. Remember how Superman calmly walks straight up a skyscraper? Like that!
I meant woodpeckers.

Have you ever wanted something for a very long time? I have wanted to have Victorian Doll house to put miniature furniture and have a beautiful model house?

a brand new spanking truck. never happen. they want what, 30-40 thousand for one? heh! i mean, really? paid $6,500 for the house we're in, it's worth more now but sheesh. give me a pair of roller skates. or...if not a brand new truck...an real old one. split windshield. i'd love to be able to restore one but no time and very little mechanical skill. well, some. one of the older ones, that might be solvable. climb in, shut the hood, open it back up and invite the wife to come inside, lots of room there. move around, fiddle with the nuts and bolts. in iowa, there was this landscaping company that had a whole fleet of old trucks, pickups, flatbeds, your basic flat green, round, curves? yeah, sweet. all these old farm trucks all they did was bring bags of seed out to the tractor and equipment. so they weren't pushed too hard. so...since i can't have a brand new truck, put me in line for an old one, sand on the floor, old radio dial, no seatbelts, bench seat. "we're gone to wind this sucker up, we gone to make some birds run for cover!" paraphrased, but mike's old man.

I just got an original Alien poster on Ebay not 5 minutes ago. Not as little as I wanted to pay but I've let go so many much worse.

I may have mentioned I'm covering every square inch of a spare bedroom with horror posters. I nearly have the ceiling covered and the walls are long gone. I can't figure how to do the floor without ruining the posters though. We have inch thick glass the rich use for shower doors at work but it would take a lot of 4x8 sheets.
